Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old.
- A doctor placed a sepsis order-set (a special treatment plan for sepsis) for you within the last 2 days.
- You are not already in the intensive care unit (ICU).
- You do not have a pacemaker or similar implanted device that could interfere with electroacupuncture.
- You are able to give consent, or a family member or legal representative can give consent for you.
- If you are in another treatment trial, that trial’s lead doctor must say it’s okay for you to join this study.
