Who can take part
- You must be 11 years or older and weigh at least 30 kg (66 lbs).
- You must have had a positive screening test for sleeping sickness (CATT or RDT).
- You must be able to swallow tablets and keep follow-up visits.
- You cannot have active parasites found in your blood or lymph node at the start.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, or have been treated for sleeping sickness before.
- You must avoid other clinical trials and, if you could become pregnant, use reliable birth control.
