  • You are an adult who broke the top part of your arm bone (near the shoulder) within the last week.
  • Your fracture is a specific type that your doctor can identify on an X-ray.
  • Your BMI (body mass index) is less than 40.
  • You have not had a previous fracture or surgery on the same shoulder.
  • You can understand and follow instructions for rehabilitation.
