This study tests whether a home-based exercise program, guided by a smartphone app, can improve your daily life and heart function if you have pulmonary hypertension. You will use a wearable device to track your activity and receive remote support from a medical team.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with a specific type of pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) confirmed by a heart catheterization test.
  • Your medications for pulmonary hypertension have been stable for at least 3 months, and you have not done any organized exercise training in that time.
  • You do not faint or feel like you might faint when walking or during recovery.
  • You are able to use a smartphone and health monitoring devices.
  • You do not have serious heart rhythm problems, blood clots, or other conditions that would make exercise unsafe.
