- You are a man aged 40 or older.
- Your prostate cancer is localized (has not spread) and confirmed by biopsy.
- Your PSA is below 20 and your Gleason score is 7 or lower.
- You have not had radiation therapy for prostate cancer before.
- You do not have metal implants or stents in your urethra.
