Who can take part

  • You have type 1 diabetes and are at least 7 years old (adults up to 75).
  • Your total daily insulin dose is at least 10 units and you weigh more than 22 kg (about 49 lbs).
  • You or your parent/guardian can count carbohydrates and use an insulin pump or multiple daily injections.
  • Your blood sugar control is not optimal (HbA1c between 7% and 12%, or time-in-range below 70%, or time-below-range above 4%).
  • You use one of these rapid insulins: Humalog, Lyumjev, Novorapid, or FIASP.
