Who can take part

  • You must be a U.S. military veteran
  • You have a current diagnosis of PTSD
  • You do not have serious eye problems (like glaucoma, inherited retinal disease, or significant vision loss)
  • You do not have liver failure, epilepsy triggered by light, or a psychotic disorder (like schizophrenia)
  • You are not allergic to sertraline (Zoloft) or similar antidepressants
  • You are not currently taking medications that affect serotonin (or can stop taking them safely before the study)
