Who can take part

  • You have moderate to severe hand cramps or twitching that only happens during specific tasks (like writing, playing an instrument, or typing).
  • You have had symptoms for at least 6 months.
  • You are between 21 and 75 years old.
  • You have tried Botox or deep brain stimulation and it didn't help enough, or you choose not to try those options.
  • You can have an MRI and are able to lie still for up to 4 hours during the procedure.
