Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have a closed finger fracture (skin is not broken) in the middle or base segment, not involving a joint.
  • Your surgeon can reset the bone without a large cut (closed reduction).
  • You can give consent and answer health forms in English.
  • You do not have other broken bones in the same hand that need different treatment.
  • You can commit to follow-up appointments for 3 months.
