Comparing two imaging systems for inherited retinal disease

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with an inherited retinal disease (IRD) either by a doctor or by genetic testing.
  • You do not have other serious eye conditions that could interfere with the imaging, such as advanced cataracts, corneal problems, uncontrolled eye movements, or bleeding in the eye.
  • You do not have eye conditions that could affect how doctors interpret the images, such as scars on the retina or abnormal blood vessels under the retina.
  • You are able to sit still and look at a fixed point for the imaging.
