Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread or is in a location that makes surgery not possible.
- You are able to take medicine by mouth (no trouble swallowing or blockages that prevent it).
- You agree to receive chemotherapy with capecitabine, and you have not had certain other cancer treatments in the past 4 weeks.
- You are generally well enough to be up and about for at least part of the day (ECOG score 0-3).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use birth control if needed.
