Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic generalized epilepsy (IGE) based on the 2022 medical guidelines.
  • You either have just been diagnosed with epilepsy or have had it for some time.
  • Your doctor will collect detailed information about your health and do a 24-hour brain wave test (video EEG).
  • You must agree to be part of the study and sign a consent form.
  • You are not enrolled if your diagnosis changes to another epilepsy syndrome during follow-up.
