- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You have been diagnosed with simple obesity
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 25 or higher
- OR your waist measurement is at least 90 cm (men) or 80 cm (women)
- OR your waist-to-hip ratio is 0.9 or higher (men) or 0.85 or higher (women)
