3D Lung Map to Guide Small Nodule Surgery

Who can take part

  • Your lung nodule must be small and has a certain amount of solid tissue (described by consolidation-to-tumor ratio).
  • The nodule must be located in the outer part of your lung, not too deep.
  • Your surgeon will use a 3D computer model of your lungs to plan the surgery.
  • Your cancer must be in the earliest stages (stage IA1 or IA2) and hasn't spread.
  • You should not have a chronic lung disease like COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, or silicosis.
