Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with stage 2 or 3 'frozen shoulder' (adhesive capsulitis).
  • Your shoulder motion is limited: you can't lift your arm all the way overhead, reach out to the side fully, or rotate your arm outward as much as normal.
  • You have not had any shoulder surgery or fractures near the affected shoulder.
  • You do not have a nerve disorder, arthritis (like rheumatoid arthritis or osteoporosis), or neck problems that affect your shoulder.
