Brain scan and citalopram study for healthy volunteers

Who can take part

  • You must be willing and able to give informed consent.
  • You need to speak English well enough to understand and complete the tasks.
  • You cannot have any metal in your body (like implants or shrapnel) or devices that could be affected by MRI.
  • You should not have a serious mental health condition, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or personality disorder that affects daily life.
  • You cannot be taking psychiatric medications or any medicines that might interact with citalopram.
  • You must not have medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, epilepsy, or glaucoma that could be risky.
  • You should not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy, and must have a BMI between 18 and 30.
