Brain stimulation to help prevent opioid relapse

Who can take part

  • You are between 21 and 60 years old.
  • You are currently dependent on opioids and have recently (within the last 90 days) started taking buprenorphine or methadone.
  • You receive treatment at Butler Hospital or through a community opioid treatment program.
  • You do not have certain neurological conditions like Parkinson's, seizure disorder, or a recent head injury.
  • You are not currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the next month.
  • You plan to stay on buprenorphine or methadone for at least the next 3 months.
