Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a diagnosis of opioid use disorder
  • You are currently taking medication for opioid use disorder (like methadone or buprenorphine)
  • You plan to stay in the study for the whole treatment period
  • You do not have any serious medical condition that affects your brain (like a past head injury with skull fracture or loss of consciousness over 30 minutes)
  • You do not have any reason that makes tDCS or MRI unsafe for you (such as a history of seizures, metal implants in your head, or claustrophobia)
