  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are scheduled for brain or spine surgery where you will be placed in the park-bench position
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or below
  • You do not have a lung disease that requires extra oxygen
  • You do not have a pacemaker
  • You are not pregnant
