Who can take part
- Your surgery is a planned keyhole (video-assisted or robot-assisted) procedure to remove a lobe or a segment of your lung.
- Your general health is good enough to have a low risk from anesthesia (ASA score of 3 or less).
- Your body mass index (BMI) is not above 40.
- You do not have severe lung failure (like advanced COPD with very low breathing test results).
- You do not have severe kidney failure (GFR below 30) or severe heart failure (NYHA class 2 or higher).
