Who can take part
- You are between 30 and 75 years old.
- You have had type 2 diabetes for 5 years or less.
- You have mild high blood pressure (systolic 130-139 or diastolic 85-89) or a history of slightly higher blood pressure (systolic 140-159 or diastolic 90-99).
- You have metabolic syndrome (at least 3 of: large waist, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol).
- You have a specific Traditional Chinese Medicine pattern (phlegm-dampness or phlegm-blood stasis).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no severe diabetes complications, stroke history, major organ diseases, or allergies to herbal ingredients.
