Focal IRE treatment for intermediate-risk prostate cancer

Who can take part

  • You are over 50 years old and expected to live at least 10 more years.
  • Your cancer is only in the prostate (stage T2c or less) and has a Gleason score of 7 (3+4 or 4+3).
  • Your PSA level is 15 or lower, or if higher, your PSA density is less than 0.15.
  • You have not had any prior treatment for prostate cancer (surgery, radiation, hormone therapy, etc.).
  • You have a visible tumor on MRI that can be treated with the IRE procedure, and no cancer spread outside the prostate.
