Who can take part
- Biopsy-proven prostate cancer, grade group 2 or 3 (medium risk)
- Prostate size 80 cubic centimeters or smaller
- No cancer spread to lymph nodes or other parts of the body
- Able to safely receive general anesthesia and undergo an MRI scan
- No active urinary tract infection, bleeding disorder, or heart rhythm problems
- No prior prostate cancer treatment (surgery, radiation, or hormone therapy)
