Who can take part
- You have a type of breast cancer called ER-positive, HER2-negative (hormone receptor positive).
- Your tumor is at least 2 cm in size and has not spread to distant organs.
- You are scheduled to receive standard chemotherapy (epirubicin, cyclophosphamide, paclitaxel) before surgery.
- You are able to swallow tablets and have adequate organ function (kidney, liver, bone marrow).
- You have not taken doxycycline or similar antibiotics within the last month.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and agree to use effective birth control during and for 12 months after treatment.
