Who can take part

  • You are female and age 18 to 70.
  • You have newly diagnosed invasive breast cancer and have not had breast-cancer treatment yet.
  • Your tumor is HER2-positive (from tumor testing like IHC or biopsy test results).
  • Your cancer is operable (not spread to distant organs) and is larger than 2 cm.
  • Your biopsy shows cancer in nearby lymph nodes within the last 28 days before randomization.
  • Your heart function is strong enough (left-heart pumping LVEF at least 55%) and heart blood tests (BNP/NT-proBNP and troponin) are normal.
