Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You have end-stage kidney disease and are planning to get a kidney transplant from a living donor with a different blood type
- You must receive vaccines against certain bacteria (Neisseria meningitidis, Pneumococcus, or H. influenzae) at least 2 weeks before taking the study drug
- You cannot have had your spleen removed
- You cannot have an active infection or a history of Neisseria meningitidis infection
- You must be able to understand and agree to the study procedures
