First, you receive an infusion of CD38 antibodies to clear harmful cells, then a months-long course of azathioprine pills to maintain the benefit and protect your kidney.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your kidney transplant must be at least 6 months old (from a living or deceased donor).
  • Your kidney function (eGFR) should be 30 or higher.
  • You must have donor-specific antibodies (HLA Class I and/or II).
  • A kidney biopsy must show chronic active antibody-mediated rejection (caABMR).
