This study looks at how stress and resilience affect people who use alcohol or cannabis to cope. It's for adults of Afro-descent who have used alcohol or cannabis at least a few times recently and are not in treatment for substance use.

Who can take part
- You are of Afro-descent (for example, African American, African, or Caribbean).
- You are comfortable speaking and reading English.
- You have used alcohol or cannabis at least 2 or 3 times in the past month.
- You sometimes use alcohol or cannabis to help you cope with stress or tough emotions.
- You are not currently in treatment or seeking treatment for alcohol or cannabis use disorder, and you have not lost control over your use.
