Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your lung cancer must be a type called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread or come back, and cannot be treated with surgery or curative radiation/chemotherapy.
  • Your tumor must have an EGFR mutation (a specific change in the cancer cells).
  • You must be able to provide a sample of your tumor (either from a previous surgery or a new biopsy) for testing.
  • You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • You must be in good enough health to have a life expectancy of at least 3 months and a performance status of 0 or 1 (able to carry on daily activities).
  • Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function must be within certain limits.
