This study tests whether almonertinib taken after complete surgery can improve outcomes for people with stage II–IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has certain EGFR gene changes. It also compares almonertinib plus chemotherapy versus almonertinib alone to see which approach is safer and works better.

Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older.
- Your lung cancer is non-small cell lung cancer (not mostly squamous), and confirmed by pathology.
- Before your surgery, you had a brain check (exam/scan) as standard care.
- After surgery, pathology shows stage II or IIIA disease, and all visible tumor was completely removed with negative surgical margins.
- Your tumor test (central lab) finds an EGFR mutation: either Ex19del or L858R (with or without other EGFR changes like T790M).
- You must be well enough for treatment (performance status 0 to 1) and be within 10 weeks of surgery.
