Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have acute decompensated heart failure (a sudden worsening of heart failure symptoms).
- You are not on dialysis for kidney failure.
- You have not had a kidney transplant.
- You have not had any surgery within one week before or after a kidney injury event.
- You have not had thyroid problems, drug toxicity, rheumatologic or autoimmune disease, or an acute infection.
