Who can take part

  • You have esophageal squamous cell cancer that got worse or caused side effects after first treatment with chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug.
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old and in generally good health (able to take care of yourself).
  • Depending on your symptoms, you may get either chemoradiation or chemotherapy along with the study drugs.
  • You have at least one tumor that shows up on scans and can be measured.
  • Your blood counts, kidney and liver function are within safe limits.
  • You do not have active autoimmune disease or other serious uncontrolled medical conditions.
