Who can take part

  • Your original cancer (the one that spread to the lung) is under control or being treated effectively.
  • You have no cancer spread to other organs (outside the lung) that is not under control.
  • You are healthy enough to have surgery—your heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs must be working well.
  • Your doctor determines you can safely undergo anesthesia and the procedure.
  • You are at least 18 years old.
