Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have stage 5 chronic kidney disease and have been on hemodialysis for at least 12 weeks.
- Your average hemoglobin level (a measure of red blood cells) should be between 9.0 and 12.0 g/dL.
- You must have enough iron in your blood, as shown by specific lab tests (ferritin at least 100 ng/mL and transferrin saturation at least 20%).
- You must be on a stable dose of an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA) for at least 6 weeks before the study starts.
