Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- Your kidney cancer is the clear cell type, which has been confirmed by biopsy or surgery.
- You have not yet received any treatment for advanced kidney cancer (prior treatment before it spread, like after surgery, is okay if it was more than 6 months ago).
- You have tumors that can be measured on scans.
- You are generally in good health and able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0-1).
