Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and staying in a surgical ward in the hospital.
  • Your doctor has ordered blood sugar checks at least 4 times a day (or 3 times a day at Svendborg Hospital).
  • You expect to be in the hospital for at least three more days.
  • You are at risk for low or high blood sugar, even if you don't have diabetes.
  • You can communicate in Danish.
