Who can take part

  • You had a stroke between 6 and 12 months ago.
  • You can walk 10 meters (about 33 feet) with or without a cane or walker.
  • You do not have any open wounds or skin problems on your legs.
  • You do not have severe memory or thinking problems, or trouble communicating.
  • Your leg muscles are not very stiff.
  • You do not have other conditions like Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis.
