Motor learning and exercise for stroke recovery

Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 70 years old.
  • Your stroke was ischemic (caused by a blood clot) and happened 1 to 5 months ago.
  • You can follow simple directions (like understanding what a therapist asks you to do).
  • You do not have serious heart problems or other neurological conditions beyond stroke.
  • You are not currently receiving any other physical therapy for your stroke recovery.
  • You have good thinking ability (score above 24 on a mental status test).
