Who can take part
- You have solid tumors (like lung, breast, or prostate cancer) that have spread to the bone, and you have only a few tumors (fewer than 5 in total) or most of your tumors are stable except for 1-3 new bone spots.
- You have up to 3 bone tumors that are each smaller than 5 cm (about 2 inches).
- A team of cancer doctors has recommended that you have a freezing treatment called cryoablation to try to destroy the tumor completely.
