Beetroot juice supplement for lung fibrosis
Part of Lungs & breathing clinical trials.
This trial tests whether a beetroot juice drink (rich in nitrates) can help people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis breathe better and exercise more. It's a small pilot study to see if it's safe and worth studying further.

This trial tests whether drinking beetroot juice can improve exercise performance in people with fibrotic interstitial lung disease (scarring in the lungs). It may help your body use oxygen better during activity if you meet the study’s safety and lung-function requirements.
This trial tests an inhaled form of nintedanib (a drug that helps slow lung scarring) for people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). It may be an option for those newly diagnosed or already on stable treatment.
This trial tests whether adding zinc and nicotinamide riboside (a vitamin B3-like supplement) to standard IPF treatment can help improve lung function. It is for people with IPF who are already seeing a lung doctor and live in certain states.
This trial tests the safety of a new inhaled medicine. You must be a healthy nonsmoker, have normal lung function, and agree to avoid certain medications and foods.
This study tests whether breathing training and a natural nitrate supplement (from beets) can improve how well you exercise in conditions that simulate high altitude. You'll do cycling workouts while we measure your performance.
This trial tests an inhaled drug called LTI-03 to see if it can help people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). It may be an option for those with moderate lung function who are stable on their current treatment.
