Who can take part

  • You have a diagnosis of fibrotic interstitial lung disease such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), fibrotic nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP), chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP), or an unclear type that mostly fits these
  • Your lung CT scan (high-resolution CT) shows scarring signs like honeycombing, reticulation, or traction bronchiectasis
  • Your oxygen level is at least 92% while you are resting and breathing room air
  • Your condition has been stable for at least 6 weeks before starting
  • You can read and write in English
  • You should not have certain safety blockers for exercise testing (for example significant heart, muscle, or neurologic problems), or other major conditions that would limit breathing or exercise
