Who can take part
- You have sores or erosions from oral lichen planus that have lasted more than 2 months, and they are on the inside of your cheeks or gums near the back teeth on both sides.
- The sores are mild to moderate in size (between 3 mm and 10 mm each, and the total area of all sores is between 9 mm² and 100 mm²), with similar size on both sides.
- You have moderate to severe gum disease (confirmed by your dentist) in the area where the sores are.
- You have not had deep cleaning or scaling of your gums in the last 6 months.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study, and you have no medical conditions that prevent dental care or steroid use.
