Who can take part
- Pain in your lower back, neck, or a joint (hip, knee, shoulder) for at least 3 months
- Pain that is at least a 4 out of 10 on average and gets in the way of your daily life
- Some signs of depression (feeling down or losing interest in things)
- Identify as Black or African American
- Have a phone you can use reliably
- Have a doctor's appointment coming up in the next 2-4 months, or be willing to make one
