Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You are scheduled to have one kidney removed (unilateral nephrectomy).
  • Your health status is classified as ASA II or III (mild to moderate systemic disease).
  • You are not allergic to dexamethasone, magnesium, or bupivacaine.
  • You do not have a spinal deformity, neurological disorder, chronic pain, or infection near the injection site.
  • You are not having a midline incision or both kidneys removed.
