CAR T cells targeting CD19 and CD20 for relapsed B-cell cancers

B-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma

Part of Blood & lymphatic, Cancer, Immune system & allergy, Infections clinical trials.

This trial tests a new type of CAR T-cell therapy that targets two markers (CD19 and CD20) on B-cell cancer cells. It is for people whose B-cell leukemia or lymphoma has come back or not responded to standard treatments.

Who can take part

  • You must have a B-cell blood cancer that is CD19 or CD20 positive (confirmed by a lab test).
  • Your cancer has either come back after treatment or hasn't responded to standard therapy.
  • You must have measurable disease (for lymphoma, at least one lymph node >1.5 cm; for leukemia, a positive minimal residual disease test).
  • You should be in fairly good health (ECOG performance status 0-2, meaning you can do daily activities with little or no help).
  • You cannot have serious heart problems, active infections, or other advanced cancers.

Two-target CAR T cells for relapsed B-cell blood cancers

This trial tests a new type of immunotherapy that uses your own immune cells engineered to recognize two cancer targets (CD19 and CD22) to treat B-cell blood cancers that have come back or not responded to standard treatments. It may offer a treatment option when other therapies have stopped working.
