Who can take part

  • You have long-term symptoms like cough, shortness of breath, or wheezing.
  • Your lung function test (spirometry) shows your FEV1 is less than 80% of normal and the ratio of FEV1 to FVC is less than 70%.
  • After using a rescue inhaler, your FEV1 does not improve by more than 12%.
  • You do not have asthma or a history of asthma.
  • You have smoked cigarettes or other tobacco products at some point.
