Healing eardrum holes: Blood gel vs. natural gel

Who can take part

  • You are between 14 and 50 years old.
  • You have a dry hole (perforation) in the center of your eardrum that is small or medium-sized.
  • Your hearing test shows a mild conductive hearing loss (no more than 40 dB gap).
  • You have not had any ear drainage or infection in the past 3 months.
  • You are healthy enough for surgery and have no serious medical conditions.
