Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 59 years old.
  • You have shoulder pain on one side that started more than 1 month ago but less than a year ago, and you have at least 15 degrees of internal rotation loss (GIRD).
  • Or you have no history of shoulder pain.
  • You have no major shoulder injuries like a torn rotator cuff, labrum tear, or prior shoulder surgery.
  • You do not have hypermobility (very loose joints) as measured by a Beighton score of 6 or higher.
  • You can safely perform a gentle shoulder stretch without severe pain.
