  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • Your BMI is between 25 and 40 (overweight or obese range)
  • You have not been on a diet for at least 6 months
  • You are not taking long-term medications that affect metabolism (like thyroid drugs or steroids)
  • You do not have a known allergy to guava
  • You do not have a chronic intestinal disease
  • You are not pregnant
