Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depressive disorder.
  • You have had a special brain MRI scan (3 Tesla) or are willing to have one.
  • You have blood samples available for genetic and inflammation testing, or are willing to give them.
  • You do not have a major medical condition like cancer, autoimmune disease, or a brain disorder.
  • You are not currently taking medications that affect the immune system (like steroids or strong pain relievers).
